Why not? Let’s soak four cameras with a water sprinkler and see if they stay dry inside.
That’s what the folks at Imaging Resource decided to do.
The four cameras they tested are the Nikon D850, Sony A7RIII, Canon 5D Mk IV, and Olympus E-M1 II.
The short story. The Canon 5D Mk IV and Olympus Olympus E-M1 II did well. Both stayed dry inside. The Nikon D850 sprung a small leak in the viewfinder. The Sony A7RIII fared worst with a major leak.
