Kristin

Kristin is my best “August 9” photo. This was a fairly easy pick. My only other August 9 option is an image of the sun, but I will post a favorite sun image from the August 21, 2017 eclipse when we get to that date.

We did a photo shoot August 9, 2014, doing photos indoors and outside. To get the subdued reflection, Kristin is on top of a grand piano. All of the light is coming from a yellow, translucent window to camera left. I had to adjust the white balance of the photo to compensate for the yellow light from the window.
