My favorite photo for today’s date is not only my favorite photo for September 21. It is one of my all time favorite images.
It isn’t often that you get a beautiful lightning photo during the day with wonderful light with a great foreground subject.
This is Route 66 through Yukon, Oklahoma which was where I lived at the time. When the storm rolled through I went to one of my favorite photo locations and set up. The light was beautiful. I opened the shutter at just the right moment to capture this image. I didn’t know if I actually got the shot until I got my film back from the processor.
