Kristen’s Eye. September 22, 2003.

This image is different from what I usually do. I was in a camera store in Denver Colorado.

I was testing a Canon 65mm 1x-5x macro lens with Canon ring flash. The ring flash was used and on sale.  I needed a test subject so I asked Kristen, the sales clerk, if I could use her eye. She said yes.

I liked the results and all the fine details in the image. I bought the ring flash. (I already had the lens.)

The ring flash was reflected in the eye so I digitally removed the reflection.
