It was an amazing night at Maroon Lake and the moon was lighting the Maroon Bells. This is one of most favorite image for this date.
One year later I was back in Colorado. On the way to Rocky Mountain National Park via the Peak to Peak Scenic Byway, I captured this sea of golden aspen.
A few miles north I did a closeup of these orange aspen leaves on the road to Brainard Lake.
And when I arrived at Rocky Mountain National Park I was greeted by this bull elk.
The Peak to Peak Scenic Byway, the road to BRainard Lake, and Rocky Mountain NAtional Park are all great photo locations. And so is Maroon Lake and the MAroon Bells.
Photo Data for Maroon Bells at Night: Canon 5D Mark III. Canon EF 24-105mm lens at 24mm. f/4. 30 sec., ISO 3200.
