Tahitian Wave. Tahiti Nui’s western shore. October 6, 2004.

I was on the west side of Tahiti Nui and big waves were rolling in. The wind was out of the east so it was blowing a fine mist off the top of the waves. It was impressive. This is my favorite photo for October 6.

I was working with on air radio personality, Warren Stevens, to capture some images of him live on the air. I came back on October 6 to capture some close up images, including this image of his hand on the board. This is my second favorite image.

Autumn Leaves, Banff National Park. October 6, 2012.

My third favorite image for October 6 is from my one and only trip to Banff National Park that has been in some prior posts. It was a rainy, drizzly day with no landscape images to be had. I grabbed this image of some autumn leaves with my iPhone and processed the images with the iPhone apps PS Express and Painteresque.
