There are over 3400 images in my “favorite photos” folder, and not one of them was taken on November 9.

And it isn’t just November 1. There are no favorite photos for several other days in November. November is just not a big photography month for me.

In March 2018 I put together a selection of my “best of the best” nature photography images and sorted them by the month they were taken. The difference between months is dramatic.

December, January, February and March won’t be much better. I like winter photography, but it is not the time of year I do most of my shooting. That’s ok. I shoot when I want to shoot.
