To my eyes, a mother looking forward to the birth of her child is one of the most beautiful sights on the planet. That is why I love baby bump photography.

Stefanie was a professional model when we first met and we did several photo shoots together. She retired from modeling a few years ago and moved on to other things. She was quite excited when she told me she was “expecting” and I was excited for her and her husband. When she got far enough along she wanted to do a baby bump shoot.

As a former model, I figured this would be a little different from the usual baby bump photo shoot. This image of Stefanie is my favorite photo for December 16.
