This is our daughter-in-law Catharine and our grandson Terran, so it should be obvious why this is one of my most favorite images for January 28.

I did this image in the soft light of a window to camera right.

I did this image the same day. I used blue cloth as the backdrop and light from a window to camera left. This is another of my most favorite images for this date.

We were flying home from California and crossed the Sangre de Cristo Mountains when there was just barely enough light to take a picture. You can also see the Great Sand Dunes. This is not only one of my most favorite photos for this date, it is one of my most favorite night flight photos.
