I have three favorite photos for today’s date. I have been photographing all these sisters since they were toddlers. If their faces look familiar, it is because they have been part of this series before.

 

As often happens, we were doing portraits on a Sunday afternoon after church. Sometimes it is my idea and sometimes it is their idea. I almost always have a camera with me so I am ready for a spur of the moment photo shoot.

These were inside portraits using natural window light. For two of these portraits I used the surface of a grand piano to create a soft reflection.
