This image was created on the same trip as my Snowy Owl trip. This is a young bald eagle. As it matures the head feathers will turn white and the wing feathers will get darker. This is my favorite photo for February 22.

I was at the Dafter Michigan Landfill which is a hangout for bald eagles. This mature bald eagle was just hanging out. It is my third place favorite image for today’s date.

Bruce Munro had a light exhibit at the Franklin Park Conservatory in Columbus Ohio. The best time of day to go was when the sky was dark blue. This is my third second favorite image for today’s date.
