We were in California for our usual spring trip to visit family. I found the calla lily in my mother-in-law’s back yard. This is my favorite photo for April 7.

Earlier the same day I was out at the wildlife refuge capturing, poppy images. This is my second favorite image for this date. This is not the last time you will see California Golden Poppies in this series.
