I have two favorite photos for this date, one from a conference, and the other from an art exhibit and auction.
The Community of Christ has its World Conference every two or three years in Independence Missouri. Elected delegates come to vote on important matters. I am usually one of the official staff photographers.
The Tahitian Choir sang at one of the evening worship services and I captured this image of a few people in the choir toward the end of the service. I especially like the girl’s face. This is one of my two most favorite images for April 10. You will see more conference photos later on in this series.

The Stivers School for the Arts in Dayton Ohio invited me to submit a piece for their annual photography exhibit and fund raising auction. I did, and I went to the auction at the end of the exhibit and had a great time. This panorama, stitched together from several photos is my other favorite image for this date.
I captured a number of images at the auction to try to catch some of the spirit of this event.

Some of the images I like best are people looking at the photographs.

I also wanted to get the lively auctioneer.
