My photography workshop was out for an afternoon and evening field trip and we ended the day at Holland State Park. Jupiter (upper center) and Venus (lower and to the right) were shining brightly in the western sky. It was a beautiful evening. This is my favorite photo for May 16.

A lot of people were on the beach chasing the sunset light. This is my second favorite photo for this date.

Holland State Park is a nice photography location.

Horses, Allegan Michigan. May 16, 2014.

One year earlier I was checking out field trip locations. South of Allegan Michigan on highway M-40 I spotted these horses not long after sunset. This is my third favorite photo for this date.
