If you have been following this series, you have probably guessed this is another photo from SPECTACULAR, the annual July event at Graceland University. This is my favorite image for July 27. I love the expression on her face. You might be wondering how she got splattered with grass.

There were water mist sprayers at the soccer fields to keep the athletes cool on the hot sunny days. Some sloppy mud and grass puddles formed under the water sprayers. Marcia and several other athletes decided to run and slide through the puddles. It made for great fun and fun photos.

Believe it or not, there are things I do in July other than SPEC. Ellie Marie and I were creating images for her portfolio, and this stream in Dublin Ohio made a nice shooting location.
