If you are out hiking and a beautiful woman asks you to take her picture, you should probably says yes! We should all be so lucky, right? Well, we didn’t really meet by chance. Tiana is a first class model and photographer living in the San Francisco Bay Area.
For the image above my exposure was determined by metering her face and adding one stop of light (“plus 1” exposure compensation). That gave me a nice exposure for her face, her glowing, backlit hair, and great skin tones.
For the photo with the water and sky reflection I metered the brighter side of her face and added 1 stop of light. The sunlight was diffused by clouds for the lower photo. If the sunlight had been more intense the photo would have been too contrasty.
